    Condition

    In very fine, fresh condition, the full sheet., Framed in accordance with accepted conservation standards, acid free mats and mounts, removable hinging.

Provenance: With a Park West Gallery certificate.
Note: "Le cocu magnifique" was a three act play written by Fernand Crommelynck, which Picasso illustrated with 12 original etchings some with aquatint and drypoint.The set was released with all 12 etchings bound in the book with the play. An additional 30 sets of signed images on wide margined paper accompanied the first 30 numbered editions of the book. The etching being sold here is from the book edition.

This image is one of the most accomplished compositions in the set of 12.
